Our whole bean coffee comes in three different roasts … Medium (our favorite), Café (a multi-colored blend of medium, medium/dark, and dark roasts), and Dark (great for espresso).

The label on the front of our bag is a painting by local Hawaiian artist, Kathy Long, of the entrance to our farm. We are located on the slopes of Mauna Kea at an elevation of 2,500 to 2,800 feet on the lush Hamakua Coast of the Big Island above the town of Honoka’a. The cold air coming down from the mountain flows right through our farm and gives us very cool nights. This results in an extended amount of time that it takes for the coffee cherries to ripen and enhances the body and flavor of the roasted coffee. In addition, our soil is different from that on the leeward, drier Kona side of the Big Island. Mauna Kea is about 1 million years old and last erupted 4,500 years ago. Its soil has developed a rich, fertile quality. Thus, much like a fine wine, our coffee has an exceptional taste due to its particular climate and soil. Our coffee is soft and smooth with a robust and balanced finish ... “Paradise in a Cup!”

The price is $32.50 for half a pound and $65 for one pound (whole bean only, please be sure to specify roast) plus delivery by USPS Priority Mail as follows:

AS GOOD AS I WAS TOLD

Sometimes things do not live up to high expectations. This is not the case here. I was told that Hawaiian Cloud Forest organic coffee was very good and it most certainly is.

    Lovely, round, nutty tasting....

Posted by Yon on 22nd Feb 2013

I first tasted Hawaiian Cloud Forest coffee at a B&B in Big Island. It tasted very different from other brands I have tried before. My husband and I got excited and drove to the HCF plantation but the gate was closed. But we did enjoy the drive to there and the beautiful surroundings. I imagine Big Island when I drink HCF coffee in MD.

I can now drink coffee without getting a migraine

Posted by Beky on 20th Feb 2013

I have been a migraine sufferer all my life and and as long as I don't drink coffee, I am migraine free. I tried this coffee a few months ago and lo and behold, no headache! I am not drinking it on a daily basis but once a week I have a delicious cup without any side effects. I am loving it.

    Much better than Kona Coffee

Posted by Gail Morris on 27th Dec 2012

I have been looking for a fantastic coffee for years and finally discovered Hawaiian Cloud Forest Coffee for sale at the Farmers' Market in Waimea about a year ago. I am in love with the Cafe Roast. Keep growing and roasting this wonderful coffee bean! I am now a coffee of the month member and I also have it shipped wherever we go in the States. Warmest Aloha- Gail

    BEST COFFEE EVER!!!!

Posted by Victoria on 19th Dec 2012

Oh, my, but this coffee is good. Every month I order one pound and every month I run out of it about 3 days too soon and have to drink my formerly favorite coffee, which pales in comparison. Then I obsessively check the mail box until my new bag arrives. Even my mother and my husband, who can't take the acidity of regular coffee, can drink this coffee, because it's so smooth!

    Truly outstanding coffee!

Posted by shozmom on 18th Dec 2012

Cloud Forest is amazing coffee, we tasted it for the first time after dinner at Merriman's and were hooked. It is so smooth without any bitterness, no cream or sugar needed. They have a new website up and running now so it's easy to order! Perfect timing for holiday gifts. Well worth the price.

Wonderful way to start the day

This coffee is terrific. And the entire ordering process is so easy. What arrives in the mail not long after it's been roasted smells heavenly, and the taste is sublime. And having it arrive on schedule monthly means we always have great coffee on hand.
