Our whole bean coffee comes in three different roasts … Medium (our favorite), Café (a multi-colored blend of medium, medium/dark, and dark roasts), and Dark (great for espresso).

The label on the front of our bag is a painting by local Hawaiian artist, Kathy Long, of the entrance to our farm. We are located on the slopes of Mauna Kea at an elevation of 2,500 to 2,800 feet on the lush Hamakua Coast of the Big Island above the town of Honoka’a. The cold air coming down from the mountain flows right through our farm and gives us very cool nights. This results in an extended amount of time that it takes for the coffee cherries to ripen and enhances the body and flavor of the roasted coffee. In addition, our soil is different from that on the leeward, drier Kona side of the Big Island. Mauna Kea is about 1 million years old and last erupted 4,500 years ago. Its soil has developed a rich, fertile quality. Thus, much like a fine wine, our coffee has an exceptional taste due to its particular climate and soil. Our coffee is soft and smooth with a robust and balanced finish ... “Paradise in a Cup!”

The price is $32.50 for half a pound and $65 for one pound (whole bean only, please be sure to specify roast) plus delivery by USPS Priority Mail as follows:

    Is there any better?

Posted by Susan Willhoit on 9th Nov 2015

Nope......I spoil myself. Complex but so smooth. The bean, the soil, the way it's grown and processed (with love) makes all the difference.

THe Best coffee on the planet

Posted by Monica Richardson on 4th Sep 2015

I bought this coffee first when I was in Hawaii at whole Foods. Something about its label called to me and I bought it three years ago. Its was $26. at Whole Foods and I felt it was worth it. Now I am buying it direct, OMG....it is fantastic. Full bodied, yet smooth, so flavorful there are no words to capture the rich deep yet delicate flavors.

Bring the tase of Hawaii to your home

Found this coffee in a small cafe on the Hamakua coast while on a business trip. It's now my go to standard when making coffee at home. Love the organic, full body taste!

Best Coffee I Have Ever Had

Posted by Grey Hodges on 17th May 2015

Had this coffee at Merriman's in Waimea and immediately went home and ordered it. This is the best I've ever had, and I'm something of a coffee snob. Low acidity, full robust mouth with chocolate over tones. I have switched from Greenwells Kona, Jamacian Blue Mt and Ethiopian Sidamo to this. This will become my Christmas gift to my family members.

This is the best coffee I have ever tasted. We have had it shipped to us in Rhode Island after seeing it at Merrimans. No other coffee comes close

    Great Hamakua Coffee!

Posted by Billy on 7th Apr 2015

This coffee is different from what I buy in California so it's a nice change. I heard about it while I was in Hawaii.

It's slightly nutty and earthy. Good quality.
